Sometimes, when we’re out in the sun, we just want a swimsuit that will let us get a killer tan! How often have you found a swimsuit you loved, but after wearing it for a nice visit to the beach, you find you have unsightly tan lines marring your favorite tank top or low-cut shirt? Avoid that fate this year by snagging one of this season’s best swimsuits for tanning!
This Season’s Best Bikini for Tanning
Love to rock a bikini? Here’s something new for you – the Tara Grinna Livia Slider Halter Bikini Swim Top Style 114. We LOVE this bikini for tanning because you can wear it two different ways – as a traditional triangle bikini (and you can adjust the coverage) or as a bandeau-style bikini top. These two different options use the straps in different ways and have different coverage over the breasts, which means as long as you alternate how you wear it, you can avoid annoying tan lines! Plus the style options are fun, playful and flirty – which means it’s also great for being seen or hanging out in the sun with someone special! We challenge you to find a better bikini top for tanning!
What’s This Year’s Best Tankini for Tanning?
Bikinis aren’t right for everyone – maybe you want a bit more coverage so something like a tankini swimsuit is more your style. Tankinis are actually quite challenging from a tanning perspective – the straps in a tankini tend to be integral to the proper function of the cups, so we couldn’t find a tankini style where you could reasonably go strapless.
Instead, we compromised with the Sunsets Separates White Chocolate Power Pad Tankini Swimsuit Top Style 81T. The power pad push up style gives you a little boost, so you can wear this as a moderate-coverage swimsuit top. That means more of your cleavage can get a nice tan, effectively moving down your tan line – hopefully low enough that it won’t show under your favorite tops! The adjustable straps are reasonably narrow, and this style should be robust enough that you can push the straps off your shoulder a bit to eliminate a strap tan line as long – as you don’t make any sudden moves!
Top One-Piece Swimsuit for Getting a Tan
Finding a one-piece style where you could still get a good tan was a bit more simple than the tankini hunt. For women who prefer the coverage and shaping of a one piece swimsuit, we love the Tara Grinna Atala One Piece Bandeau Swimwear Style AA-344. The split front overlay gives you some tummy coverage, and the full back and bandeau style means the suit has enough structural integrity to stand on its own. That means that once you get to the beach or your favorite tanning spot, just untie the neck strap and tuck it out of the way, and maybe tug the bandeau top down a little bit to move the tan line so it’ll be under your low-cut shirts – and you’re good to go! Who said you can’t wear a one-piece swimsuit and still get a great tan?
