Check Out Our New Bra Fit Guide!
One of the biggest problems that we women face when it comes to bra shopping is finding one that fits properly. In physical stores, where you can try bras on, it’s a big problem because there tends to be limited selection. It’s even harder online when you have to order a bra without trying it. We here at Big Girls Bras totally understand your fit concerns, so we’ve put a lot of time and effort into re-designing our bra fit guides to be easier to use and give you the confidence and info you need to find bras that fit!
We’ve got a ton of new images to make it easier to measure and tell if a bra fits properly, and we’ve re-organized everything to make it easier for you to find what you’re looking for. So check out our new bra fit guides and shop with confidence!
For Starters
Not sure where to start? Check out our “For Starters” page, which gives you a bunch of options to find exactly what you want. Use it to drill down to the pages you want, or take some time to browse all of the pages to learn exactly why your bras never seem to fit properly! Our new guide demystifies the entire process with well-written, easy-to-follow instructions, and gives you great images that show you exactly where most fit problems occur, and what to do – and what not to do – in the world of bra fit.
Is Your Current Bra a Good Fit?
We highly recommend that every woman check out the “Is Your Current Bra a Good Fit?” page. With statistics like “85% of women are wearing the wrong bra size” – most of us have no idea how a bra should actually fit! We inherit our ideas of bra fit from our mothers, many of whom have never been professionally fitted by women who know what they’re doing, or we have a fitting once in a department store, where they try to cram us into a bra size they carry so they can make a sale – whether or not it’s a good fit. And that’s how we think a bra should fit forever more!
No more. Take a look at our new “Is Your Current Bra a Good Fit?” page, and you’ll understand the common fit problems. From there, check out “What a Well-Fitted Bra Should Feel Like” to see the difference and really understand bra fit, or maybe “How a Bra Should Fit” for a refresher on how the bra should look and feel when you wear it.
How Bra Sizing Works and Getting Measured
If you’re like most of us, you know your arbitrary number and letter size designation (which may or may not be accurate) but you have no idea how bra sizing actually works. To give you a better understanding of sizing, we’ve put together the “How Bra Sizing Works” page with a lot of good info to help you understand sizing. And if all of this fit talk has made you realize you’re one of the 85% of women who are wearing the wrong bra size, visit our “Getting Measured for a Bra” page to find out what you should be wearing!
What do you think – do you love our new bra fit guide as much as I do, or do you still have some questions about fit and bra sizing?
