October is drawing to a close next week – have you done anything for Breast Cancer Awareness Month yet? Here at Big Girls Bras, we’ve been looking at things you should do for your own health, and we’ve also given you some great opportunities to contribute to breast cancer-related causes. The clock is ticking down – have you made a contribution or scheduled your own appointments yet? If not, there’s still time to check out our great October promos!
Take Care of Yourself
First and foremost, you should take care of yourself during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you’re 40 or over and you haven’t already scheduled your annual screening mammogram, do it! Stop putting it off! And if you’re not 40 yet but you have a family history of breast cancer, or any cancer-related concerns, talk to your doctor about what he or she might recommend for you. Some people should start screening mammograms before they hit 40 – are you one of them? Don’t wait. Take care of yourself by scheduling your appointment today.
Take Advantage of our Pink Promo
If you’ve already looked after your own health but you haven’t made any other contributions for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, consider taking advantage of our Pink promo! For every Anita, Aviana and Carnival bra sold during the month of October, we’re donating $2 to the Lisa Boccard Cancer Fund. This fund aims to help women by providing funding for breast care and helping women to obtain screening mammograms.
This great promo gives you a good excuse to buy that Anita, Aviana or Carnival bra that you’ve been eyeing – get something nice for yourself and help women in need at the same time! Remember: this promo is only good through the end of October, so it ends next week! Don’t wait too long!
Take This Opportunity to Get an Enell Sport Bra!
Enell is doing its own promo for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you get our fabulous emails, you already know that Enell is donating 10% of the purchase price for every Enell Sport Bra purchased in Hope Pink. Enell’s charity is FOCUS: the only national charity that supports women with hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. I can personally tell you that the Enell Sports Bra is an absolute godsend for full-busted women, but don’t just take my word for it – check out our Enell page and see what our 100+ reviewers have to say about it! (I’ll give you a hint – 96% of them would recommend it to a friend, and it gets 4.6 out of 5 stars from our shoppers!)
In all seriousness, with breast cancer something that will affect 1 in 8 women during their lifetimes, it’s really important that you be aware of this dangerous disease. Annual screening mammograms and early awareness are the keys to fighting breast cancer. Take care of your own health, and take these opportunities to help other women with their battles.
